Any other diesel drivers who love good cigars?
Just curious. Do any of you diesel drivers smoke a good cigar in your car once in a while? I've only smoked a stogie in mine once. Normally I don't smoke in the car.
My all time favorite is the Avo Uvezian Maduro. La Gloria Cubana is my second favorite.

Never, ever any smoking in car...but, I will, on rare occasion, have a pipe in the TOAD or a big fat seegar like a Macanudo Maduro (Churchill) out on the deck.

I haven't yet and probably won't. I want to enjoy the cigar with a cold glass of milk and not have to worry about someone cutting me off.

Me no smoky stogie.
Me like Diesel smoky. I have, however, felt for quite some time that companies with "no smoking" policies should make an exception: that smoking of cigars, both good and bad, be allowed in the rest rooms. It is preferable, n'est ce pas?

For some reason, a good cigar tastes good but smells bad.
![]() Some have likened it to the south end of a north bound goat. No, I didn't ask them how they knew. ![]() I have sheepskin seat covers and the two would never agree. ![]() (Sorry, it has been one of those days and just had to lighten things up!)

Seems like 90% of the Diesels I've worked on were owned by Cigar smokers, and I always equate that smell to them. the first one I ever worked on was for a sports writer for the Chicago Tribune, back in the late 70's (a 115 if I remember correctly) and when my wife and I were out looking for a Jeep and stumbled on this 300D as soon as I opened the door it had that smell. We brought it home that day, I have smoked a few Mac Minnies in it since and it doesn't mind a bit, nice to have that big sun(cigar)roof!!
Aromatically yours, James

I love the occassional good cigar with a fine port, but never in my car. The only thing I want my car to smell like is MB-Tex.

I love a good cigar and don't have any problems smoking in the car. With the sunroof open of course.
I prefer Nicarguan cigars. If I had to pick a favorite it would be Boc. I get e-mails from JR Cigars with specials every week. Some of them are really good deals. Danny

There is only one Cigar I care for ... and quite frankly, I would not want him in my car:

I enjoy a cigar now and then, but not in the car. Too messy. Besides, smoking a nice cigar is good "thinking time," best done in a quiet place, away from the traffic and bad drivers that get me into a lather. I've also recently started smoking a pipe, and find that it's much more enjoyable than a cigar in some ways.
