Austin Texas Wheel Alignment

Ok all you Austin area MB nuts....who do you recommend for a wheel alignment for my '84 300SD?

Any special concerns when getting an alignment?

Thanks!

Bethke Brake on East 5th or 7th? I think... They do a true old-time alignment and know how to set up a front end without just believeing what the computer says. They did an alignment on my truck 4 years ago, one set of tires and about a billion potholes. Still tracks straight and true with perfect wear. Stay away for the minimum wage morons at the McTire stores. RT

Harbor Freight has their toe in guage on sale right now for $10.00... very useful if you try it yourself...

What symptoms are you having which make you feel you need an alignment?

If you are needing front end work that should be accomplished first.

Brand new tires in May and the front are showing cords today.

This is one that I would really rather leave up to a professional. Back when I lived in the Detroit area, I took all my cars to Harolds Frame Shop for alignment....they did a great job at a reasonable price....just never had to do this with a non-plastic non-clone car before.
