It isn't a real Euro car- it's got US headlights

I hear the manual 124 cars were not much fun to drive, clunky gearbox and awkward footbrake making hill starts lots of fun. I notice there's no tach either which is annoying on a manual car.

Every car imported to the US has to meet US lighting specs. This car probably had those headlights installed just before or after being shipped to the US. I wonder if uglier headlights is part of the requirements of the US lighting specs.

Thanks for the thought.. believe it or not the car is tempting to me. I must be sick, I just sold one euro M/T diesel! And it appears the seller is the same person I bought my (now Rick's) 123 euro from.. it's in front of the same house, anyway.

Yes the Audi is one great car, but lacks in the power department with the tiny 2.8 V6. Thinking of selling it to my uncle and getting an A6 2.7T or 4.2 V8 Quattro.. or an M3.

Seller posted on the banned mbz.org list and said basically it needs lots of little things to make it "right". He believes it's too much time + effort for him to see it through...I've meet the seller before he is definately not a con artist but like any used car you pays your money and you thank a chance...
