No matter how clean it is, unless you want to risk possible engine damage you should probably filter it

I am working on a heating aparatus w/ filter system currently. Going to use it for biodiesel and then WVO later

Well yeah I'd definatley filter it, I just want to have it clean to begin with so I can get the best mileage from my filters....

I used B20 and it ran smooth and nice but my mileage fell a little bit and power too, but barely. I'd still run it if it didn't cost more....I am more interested in WVO. B20 around here is between 2.47 and 2.50 depending on the day.....the problem is that I have to drive 10 miles each way to get it. Diesel is between 2.45 and 2.49

If regular diesel goes above the current 2.49 even at all I'll instantly be back on B20 though.

I get mine from small Japaneese restaurant.
Good because they use 100% soybean oil and fry no meats. Only Tempura veggy and some fish. College towns should have plenty of Japaneese rest's...
The oil should look clean and have a cola color /look to it..Finding the good source is #1 mission.
Anyplace that stays away from frying meats....
I don't even buy filters; I filter using an old linen top sheet folded over 2X; over some chicken wire to keep the shape.

I just paid 2.35 at a no name station in Stratham, off Rt. 33.

I just HAD to brag, since I live on the seacoast. Prices vary within 20 miles, nearly 20 cents a gallon(some more expensive than premium, some nearly the same as regular). What's going on!?

man I wish we had you gas prices, here in Sweden the diesel is about 5.50 dollars/gallon. Gas is even more expensive so it's still worth it.
