OTOH,
I have bought amps for my 240D and 300SD for less than $150 completely rebuilt. 2 screws and it's out. I've used the one in the SD for about 20k now and it works fine. I have a two year warranty on the amp, so if it goes bad by then, I'll just get another one. But if I couldn't get it to work right, I'd be all over an aftermarket CC. I drive 130 miles a day and NEED it.

Interesting install, though I do like the idea of using the stock switches and sensors as this makes for a less "scabbed in" setup, course it takes a bit of time
![]() My cruise on the benz works well except when one of the pins gets finnikey (I haven't taken the time to fix it) and all it requires is a little jaunt with my foot to get it working again ![]() |
