Deciphering your build sheet....
I got to thinking about the interiors I saw on Ebay. I was thinking of purchasing but I wanted to make 110% sure of my interior. I love my Benz and I am competent when it comes to most of the mechanics but to be honest I have a hard time telling Tex and Leather apart.
So I pulled my build sheet and discovered "172" under "equipment" (line 30) I pulled out my handy-dandy interior/exterior color guide for the '85 model year. Behold, 172 is the color for Blue M-B Tex interior. Duh. I thought I had leather all along. Curious though why all the lines are not filled in. Curious what all the other 3 digit codes at the bottom are for also.
