Best way to reinstall 603 intake manifold?

I replaced my glow plugs 3k milesa go and haven't had any problems since. However, when I tried to reinstall my intake manifold I had to use snap-on "L" wrenches to get to the lower bolts. Even with the L wrench I could barely turn them very far at a time. I tried using a universal wobble on the 3/8" ratchet but that didn't work.

So, the question is, what do you guys use and how long just to reinstall the manifold?

Thanks
David

P.S.

To be honest, I kind of wish my head would crack so I'd have an excuse to dive in. I just don't like the $$$ figure of such a project.

I use a long T handled wobble.
I put grease on the end of it.

I used a Craftsman ball ended hex wrench and alot of patience. Some of the fasteners are hard to get to.

Bare in mind one thing....These intake manifolds are not perfectly flat and is why they tend to leak. There is a new gasket under mine, and it is difficult to get a good position to tighten bolts, but even suficiantly tight, I have the #1 and #2 intake ports leak black down the side of the head.

Ideally, if you could do what is done to heads (planing) the surface of the mating ports to head perfectly flat, I doubt there would be any leaks at all.

I forgot who it was in here, GSXR, or SiXtO, had mentioned the same and is what I sould have done. And oh yes, I just used a very long allen or hex wrench and a lot of tiny turns until I could get a better angle to torque....BB
