No heat.....'83 W123 300D

Well thanks to the search function I was able to positively identify my near total lack of heat.

I ordered a Monovalve repair kit off ebay a few days ago as a precautionary measure.....Well today I went down to car at lunch and pulled it appart...sure enough diaphram is totally seperated from center section. Checked and it does go in and out.....While I was there I checked the Auxilliary water pump which is indeed doing its job.

Hope the parts show up soon........tired of freezing my nads off.

I had the same problem. The valve moved fine when I was testing in on the bench but didn't work in the car with the diaphram completely torn. I'm willing to bet that was your problem. I relativly cheap and easy repair.

That guy has a lot of good stuff.
Too bad the shipping kills the price for me, on the west coast.
Still get that stuff cheaper through ********...
