jam a new IP shut-off valve in without checking to see it's latched properly in the fuel rack, start engine and watch it runaway

So true!!!! The '83 was at the dealer yesterday for a valve adjustment and glow plugs to be replaced (they were stuck, didn't want to fool around with them).....and they called us at the end of the day saying "it has no boost, we need to keep it till monday because we damaged the boost line from the manifold.....we'll fix it free...."

If they don't have it ready by noon monday we get a loaner to play with free of charge....that could be fun.....lets hope it takes them a day or two
