1987 190 Diesel Auto Transmission
The auto trannie in the 190 2.5 diesel is the same with the one in the 190 gas engines(2.3,2.6),are they interchangeble?

98% sure
I've just installed a gasser 5-speed in my '87 190DT2.5. The transmissions will physically bolt up and fit the same. I can't be 100% sure about the automatics, but if a 5-speed gasser trans fits, I should think that an automatic would fit also.
