had car towed back to house after no success with stuck ign key. tried every known trick, well almost all.
Put the key on my vibrating sander and key turn within a few seconds. Now its time to replace the cylinder. thanks to this site

Threads indicate the collar should unscrew easily  . I noticed a tool for removing the collar ($35  ). Need some wisdom please.
