Camshaft lobe limits
Does anybody know where I can find the wear limits on the camshaft lobes. I have the manual CD's & can't find anything in them. The engine is the 123 300 turbo from 1984 OM617 Thanks, Paul.

lobes
if the camshaft lobe has any visible wear it is shot. there is a chrome plating on it and when it wears through that the lobe will shortly be round.
