Hey, I'd rather be hauled off in that than the oh-so-typical Cadillac Fleetwood...

Now at last I understand the slogan "Theres a ford in your future"? Also if you had to ride in one there's no way you would get to do a critique. Perhaps it would also be the only mercedes I rode in that needed nothing and not in a position to appreciate it. Guess also if the windows go up and down behind the drivers door post it would also be labeled a fault as well.

Cadillac used to have an ad that showed a hearse with the caption: "Don't let your first ride in a Cadillac be your last one."

Saw a 124 hearse one time while cycling through Italy. Quite a few years ago now. Awkward looking things, they are.

At least it would be a slow ride - three of them are E250 diesels, and the other is an E200 gasser (2.0 liter four cylinder - M102? I think?).

My father was Ford or Feet....when he passed, the funeral director had to make special arrangements to have a Ford product available.....of course I think they should have loaded him on top of the firetruck that led the way....that would have been really cool!
