Was there a N/A 300D in 1987?

I went to look at a 1987 300D but it did not have the turbo designation on the trunk. I could not get under the hood so I don't know what's there but I thought they only made the 300D Turbo in that year...anyone know if it was made in normally aspirated version as well?
