82 300sd tran. vacuum control valve
Hello!
Does anyone know where I might be able to find a vacuum control valve? I dont want to go through dealer very pricey. It can be (w116) or (w126) thanks for any help |

What is wrong with it..I thought mine was broken and it was just sludged up...Took it out and cleaned it with carb cleaner and it was good as new...Much better than 167.00 I was ready to pay.....

bought car and this part was missing.
does anyone know if there is a way to bypass this? could i run a vac. line down to tranny, actually make it leak to get about 8-10" of vac. just until i find one ![]() |

The vacuum valve provides a variable leak, depending on "throttle" position.
