83 300sd, rear dome lights on doors closed. Removed door switch wires no change. removed driver door switch wires no change.

Can't find manual switch, wire dio shows one.

The dome light switch is the one one the left end above the climate control on the center console. I just looked on my car, same as yours.

Check the connections on the courtesy lights on the bottom of the rear doors; if the ground side of the these connections touches the body, it closes the circuit for the 3 rear interior lights. I had this problem intermittently at one point and was very confused for a while.
