I have a 87 300td wagon that I believe has a cracked head. Where do I buy a new one other than dealer and I am looking for the replacement #17 or the one that I will not have a similar problem again with.

Well, if you go to the dealer, you get the bare head and you pay retail.

You still need to setup the head with proper valves, springs and guides.

I've had a great experience with the head for the 617 by using Metric Motors in California. They can supply a brand new head and set it up for you.........probably at a decent price..........and it will be to specification.
