Why would I have coolant on my rear axle?
I was checking the flex plates under my 1982 300D, when I noticed that the rear axles (I think that's it, the part in the center of the axle anyways) had coolant on it.
Is this just a chance splash up off the road, or is their actually somewhay to get coolant on that area? Wierd. Pete. |

Either you've got coolant along the entire underside of the vehicle, or it's just a splash off the road. If the former, I'd bet that you would be adding coolant constantly.
