I don't hesitate to take my old 300D anywhere. Will it break someday? Sure but my 2001 Subaru has already broken more times than the old 300. My only checks are the brakes, extra oil, extra fuel filters in case of a bad load and tire pressure. They are probably more reliable at 25 years old than anything other than a 5 year old Toyota. The subaru left me on the side of the road in a snow storm at 15 degrees. The worst the MB ever did was roll over my foot when is popped out of park (my fault).
