Buy new belts (there are two of them) I think they are less than $12 apiece. Loosen the alternator, Power steering pump(its belt is in front of the fan/water pump belts), remove the fan, slide them into place, and reverse the process. $158 is waay too much, it'd probably only be a half hour to an hour job.

Steps:

1. Loosen 4 bolts holding fan onto Water Pump, remove fan.

2. Loosen bolts on alternator bracket, loosen tensioner, move alternator so the belts become slack.

3. Loosen bolts on Power Steering Pump, adjust its tensioner so the belt is loose, slide that belt off, install new fan/waterpump/alternator belts.

4. Reapply P/S pump belt, readjust/tighten everything so the slack is gone.

5. Reattach fan.

Done!

happened to me

this happened to me and if i remember correctly it also broke
a transmission hose going to the tranny cooler...

the alternator is on a slide and there is a bolt that will loosen it..
be careful with it....

the airconditioner must be loosened as well.... and the power steering pump..

buy the hanes manuel so you will know where the bolts to loosen them are as i remember it was difficult locating the bolts for the powersteering and ac...

I dont think i took off the fan... i think i was able to thread the belt around 2 blades then around another blade and so on until i got it around the fan...

i went to the auto parts store and the gave me the wrong belts about 3 times. that was my biggest problem.....

That is true you can snake them around the fan, forgot about that, I was thinking of when I did my water pump. When we did the 83's alternator we left the fan on....I think my brain isn't working very well.
