Tach sensor location---help!!!

I believe I have found the tach sensor on my 85 300D. Is it behind the oil filter housing (underneath the car to get to) and plug in on top in the center of the car??????????????

Then you need to do is go to the USER CP and put your location, vehicle year, make, model and mileage in your profile.

AFIK the tach reads position from the pin in the harmonic ballancer. The sensor will be somewhere around the perimeter of said ballancer.

He put his car info in his post. I agree it's nice when people have their info in their sig (overboard info of every car someone has ever had, or whip pictures is a discourtesy to others, though), but he provided necessary info...
