Dunno, why does it? Am I missing out on a hi-po diesel board somewhere?
That second video claims ~400hp. Must be nice!

Sheesh... you guys need to use the 'search' feature on this forum. These cars are Finnish SuperTurbos. A few of us are even signed up on their web forum (Mersuforum).
Warning: The cost of these mods is well into thousands of dollars, and hundreds of hours of custom fabrication. You can get about 20% power gain with the stock injection pump and intercooling... beyond that, the pump needs larger elements, and the cost starts skyrocketing. Myna Diesel is the Finnish shop that specializes in working magic on the Bosch pumps. A couple guys have dyno'd their OM603 and OM606 motors, with mostly stock long blocks (!), in the 450-500hp range. I've heard of a 330hp OM602 as well. Insane. Check out some detailed photos here: http://www.w124performance.com/images/SuperTurbo/ Some more movies (porn-free) are mirrored here: http://www.w124performance.com/movies/Mercedes/SuperTurbos/ ![]()
