Wheel noise

I have a grinding noise on passenger wheel area when I drive it is more pronounced at low speed and gets higher pitched when I speed up it also is worse when I break. The wheel only does this when it has the weight of the car on it. I have replaced front caliper, turned rotor and replaced pads and greased bearings checked for rubbing on dust shield still does it.I have just about come to the conclusion that it is the wheel bearings. I just wanted to get some input from some other person. One other question? when you break does it put more of a load on the wheel bearings. Thanks
