Thumbs up Answer

Clean the sheath, wrap with electrical tape, and don't worry.
That is your brake pad wear sensor harness.
Have a great day.

It tells you when your front brake pads are worn. If you are going to leave it disconnected, keep an eye on your brake pads. Also, be aware that your rear brakes do not have sensors so you should take a look at them every now and then.

You thought you had one rear drum brake?

Brake sensor thing

Just repaired mine 5 minutes, $50 for a new cable. It is a break ware indicator cable. When they frey they have a tendency to turn the idiot light on the little round red circle one between the break and the oh I forget.

Not life threatning

Tom
