Brake sensor thing?
i was checkn the tread on my tires because i was bored and discovered this in my right front wheel well...
the first pic is a wire just hanging and the second is where it connects to since i found the rest of it connected to it.. can someone tell me what this is .. should i fix it.. will i die if i dont.. and how much does it cost also.. the whole entire back of my block is covered in engine oil crud.. the tranny was replaced a year ago . did someone not put the main seal on right |

Answer
Clean the sheath, wrap with electrical tape, and don't worry.
That is your brake pad wear sensor harness. Have a great day.

ooooo ... so it doenst affect my performance at all.. i didnt know it had a wear sensor.. neat
you know what i discovered.. my left rear brake i thought was a drum but its a dust cover.. im missing the rest i guess as i can see the disc's |

Brake sensor thing
Just repaired mine 5 minutes, $50 for a new cable. It is a break ware indicator cable. When they frey they have a tendency to turn the idiot light on the little round red circle one between the break and the oh I forget.
