Just get used to the not super bright dash...you will appreciate it when you are out driving on dark roads.

Regarding the odo and the speedo...you are SURE that the odometer is working and clicking off miles yet the speedo doesn't indicate any speed?

If this is the case, you are defintely looking at mechanical issues or electrical ones WITHIN the unit itself...not the whole dash.

Just check fuses, tighten and clean all screws/ground points and check wires. You never know what you might find

Yea the odometer works for sure.. I replaced all the fuses too. I want to test continuity of the lead that connects to the speedo but I'm not sure where the sender is in the engine compartment.

As far investigating the inner workings of the speedometer they aren't exactly easy to take apart. I also tried one I bought off ebay and it did not work either but for all I know it either has the same problem or the speedo is not getting a signal from the sender.

Did the odometer stop working as well? Cause mine still runs and I assume they would be on the same fuse.

THe speedo mechanicals are fed (mechanically) to the odo...they are not seperate electrical circuits.

If the speedo stops becuase it lost power...so does the ODO...

...now..if the speedo mechanically fails...thats a whole nother barrel of apples
