my birth went something the same, except my father had the car festooned with trashbags. an olds toronado(sp?) he loved to pieces.

i popped out in the delivery room, though, not the car

sounds like a special(and impatient) little girl!

we want pictures!

you ought to get some iron on transfer paper and print a onesie that says "born in a benz"

Just a thought, congrats again, but you might get professional help in the interior restoration. The firms that do house fire restoration, do wonders on smoke/water damage for various materials (and those are really tough to cleanse). Might be worth a call on the Benz. May be even covered on your home or car insurance. Save the claim papers also for your files.

And you know, you will have to paint the car when your dotter is older, just for her, what color? Mercedes Smokey Lilac ?

Regards

Great story! And congratulations!
I know you're busy right now, but let us know how things are going - you're a part of the "family" now.

I knew these mercedes cars were practical, with 4 doors that are easy to close and operate, and you can even sleep in the thing with the seats reclined. I never imagined you could have a baby in one, though.

Congradulations, I like the name

That would have been a great name. His next daughter could be named #2 Diesel.
