'75 300D made it!!

Hey all,

The old banger '75 300D we drove from Cincinnati to southern Alabama to collect my 500E made it without a hitch! So we're here in Enterprise, Alabama in the Holiday Inn Express and I'm eagerly awaiting the retrieval of the 500E tomorrow morning. Anyways, the offer still stands: Anyone down here who would like the car for let's say $200 is welcome to come get it! I can be reached on the cell phone at (513) 519-7302. After we collect the 500E tomorrow, we're making a bee line for Miami, Florida so act quickly!!

Well what the heck did you expect from the old horse? The longer the trip the better for those old bears

I can give u five for it, if you park it in wisconsin...........

Good to hear it made it, mine LOVES long trips on the interstate, and is capibal of 90MPH (had some left, but on 8 year old tires, it wasnt a smart move either )

How fast did u run her up to? Did it have fresh oil in it, or not so much?
Just wandering

$200? Geez ... wish I were in 'Bama. ... I'd drop some of my Christmas money on that, since I need a beater to play with (it's hard to learn much on my car because it's so nice and I'd hate to mess it up with experimentation). I love the 115 ...

w123x3 and ineon are both in Alabama.

Someone ought to snap it up?

Maybe you should change the Title of the thread to something like:
" $200 diesel Benz in Alabama "
