Whejn I first bought my car, it would break the wheels free at the 1-2 shift. My tranny wasn't getting enough vac pwoer. Do yourself a favor and buy a myti-vac. A 123 owners most used tool. Any other accessories not right/slow? Especially door locks, engine shutdown time, etc? If so, vac is definately your problem.
