Diesel Power

The time has come......

....... to bid farewell to the group. I need to put my concentration and efforts into my plans to relocate back to Colorado. It's been a very enjoyable time to come around here and talk cars, politics, and everything else with the members of this group, both here and in the OT forums. However, I know myself all too well, and know just how poor my self controll is. If I stick around, I will most certainly end up with another project that I simply will not have the time, space, discipline, or money to actually get anything done with.

I still have plenty of diesel flowing in my veins. I put in an offer yesterday on a 1994 Safari Sarenghetti Edition Class A diesel pusher. Power is supplied by the most excellent Cummins 8.3L inline 6 turbo diesel. It puts it's power to the ground through the equally awesome Allison 6 speed world automatic tranny. If my offer is accepted, this motorhome will serve for a period as my permanent residence, after I've found work in the Denver area and put my house on the market, and untill it sells. Afterwards, it'll be used as the pleasure craft that it was designed for.

A diesel Mercedes will be in my future again. However, it will wait untill I can afford to pay the price for a meticulously maintained and pristene example.

I have a yahoo email account for those who wish to keep in touch. It's bryanfoust01@yahoo.com.

So, for now, audios, and farewell, and keep these old cars clatterin'!! When the time is right, I'll be back.

The fun part about this area

Welcome to the mountain west......Diesels get really cheap around here when it gets cold. People would rather have a gasser when their car doesn't start......How do you think I became a diesel addict....

I'm fairly new to the site but I miss you already.
Good Luck and I hope you like it here in the west.
(my latest fortune cookie tells me you and a Mercedes Diesel will meet again soon)
