Power Steering INterchange?
Hey Guys,
Found the power steering leak. Front pump seal looks like its leaking. Now my question, will a W126 300SD turbodiesel Power steering pump work on a W123 300D Turbodiesel? thanks! Dub

Should fit like a glove and work like a champ.

I agree. I think the ZF and Sperry pumps are identical in form, fit and function as I have a later ZF pump on my 77 240D and I am pretty sure they started life with a Sperry.
In your case you probably are swapping a ZF with a ZF anyway so you won't tell the difference.

I'm just going from memory...
I'm just going from memory but I seem to recall that the 115 power steering box was supposed to make the 123 handle much better. You might want to look into it.
