Brake Booster Vacuum Line

'81 300D

I broke the first orifice in the line . . . in a hurry to get the car going, I ordered the part from the dealer (by my VIN #). Wrong part!

Apparently I've got one a little different than most . . . and the part I need is in Germany.

There is a metal tube that extends from the later vac pumps that if I had, would make this line usable. If you've got that part, PM me!

Oh . . . don't always assume that the VIN#/dealer knows best!

I was completely cured of that delusion when my local dealer parts lady insisted that MB diesels don't have fuel pumps!!!

Usually its the little tips that come off at 90 degrees to the big line that I break off
If that isn't a Euro car they should be able to provide the correct part! what is the overall length of the manifold line? I may have one not sure until I know the overall length (within an inch or so) and I have seen these patched up by clever individuals that have a hot air gun and a vise to clamp the hose in a piee of wood that has been drilled out to the proper dia and cross-cut with a saw to make a clamping fixture.
