Warning triangle wasn't original equipment on the US models, but it will work if you get the clips too. I've still got pretty much everything in my first aid kit. I have a new unopened tool kit. Be happy to send you info on the first aid kit, but don't want to open the tool bag.

My E300 was a U.S. Model, but European delivery and came with the warning triangle.

Warning triangles are a European thing. I have one on the SDL though, they not only look good but are very handy.

In most countries, it is mandatory to have a warning signal and a first aid kit. Here, all we have are vague memories of a boy scout motto.

I'll check mine when I get home. It's still stuffed full with all the original first aid stuff.

Here ya go. First picture shows complete kit. Second shows items in left side pocket. Third shows items in right side pocket. The Readers Digest pamphlet must have been an addition by me at some point. Everything else is original and complete AFAIK.

MATT L first aid kit
Hey Matt what would you ask for your first aid kit?
Does it look like the one pictured above? B |

I prefer the older first aid kit in a plastic BOX. The one that comes in my car is in the plastic wallet as shown above. Remember most of first aid supplies in the wallet/box need replacement after years in the car, and most have been exposed to heat (even though they are in the covered compartment). Also, some European models have a fire extinguisher at the bottom of the front seat. It is good to have one in the car.

Mine is a plastic box. It's all tucked away out of site in the bay behind the passenger wheel well in my wagon.
