I have not read any thread/post that indicates there is more than one kit.

Comments from the gallery ?

unfortunately my k-1 doesnt look like the pictures

the pictures show a large light green plug thingie that you undo and let out a large green plunger gizmo.

my kit has no green plunger just three springs smaller in diameter and two black or gray plastic gizmos.

also on the front edge of the valve body there are at least three metal plates held on with no less than four screws each. i have no idea which springs go where. can someone help with a diagram or such?

sorry to be so ignorant. i have studiously avoided learning much about automatic trannys because i like sticks so much.

thanks in advance

K-1 kit [p/n 126 270 44 77 ] is or 722.3, 722.4 ONLY

I think you will find that this M-B K-1 kit is the official repair fix for the valve bodies for 722.3, 722.4, and maybe 722.5 series transmissions... and was to fix 2-3 shift problems.

ok, well my 23 shift is fine, except it doesnt hold second as long as it should. fourth is not engaging fully at all. reverse seems fine too.
