Our bosio nozzles came today!! So sometime early next week we're gonna pull the injectors, bring them to the shop, and then get them back in and see what happens. Hopefully it will run a lot better.

As for idle speeds....the tach on the '83 claims about 850-900 when its idling....I think its slightly less than that though.

Mine sounds slower at idle, I bet its only 700ish.....(tach doesn't work)

I've got the same idle shake problem, too. I've read about the gp's putting out voltage and since its so easy to check I'll try to do that tomorrow and post back with my results.

We installed our new bosio'd injectors into the '83 tonight and cranked, 16 seconds later 'poom...poooom! and it was running Still sounds....noiser/rougher than mine but seems to run more "evenly" and "steadily" than before. No leaks anywhere so far either. I had to leave shortly after we had it running, but it seemed to be doing good. We'll see how it pans out.

By the way: All 5 injectors were professionally cleaned and balanced/pop tested by a local diesel injection shop They looked SO good when we got them back! all capped and awesome. They looked like brand new injectors! Total $98 at the shop + 127 for the nozzles....not too bad
