New Illness...trying for monster range
My automotive illness has taken a new turn. I am obsessed w/ getting max range between fillups.
Is this a new strand or are there other sufferers out there?

Yeah, I do this. Especially recently ... summer fuel is here and it's "max range season." Two tanks ago I barely got 350 miles ... last tank, I equalled a personal record by going 480 ...probably could have gone farther on reserve, but didn't want to chance it. I know I could get 500 if I topped off (I stop when the pump clicks), or if I drove 55 mph uninterrupted the whole time. But yeah, a lot of times I'm that annoying person who tries to eek every ounce of momentum the torque converter has to offer and refrains from using the brakes unless totally necessary ...
