how do they

how do you pump out the air in your system... and how do you see the bubbles... on mine it is through the banjo bolt on top...

perhaps your pump is bad and leaking air.... often people change the filter and then it wont start becasue of air... and since you just had it done... i am guessing that it was done and pumped out and you drove it... and some how becasue of the filter change there is now air in the system...

have you tried pumping out the air.....

Smile It Worked!!!

and the winner is: BlueRanger!

I had tried hand pumping it before but obviously didn't pump enough. This time I pumped until fuel started to leak out of the bottom of the pump (i hope that's normal) and it started like a charm. Drove it 10 miles with no problems.

When I had parked it before it stopped working, it was on an incline. Maybe the fuel drained back into the tank somehow. Still one medium size bubble in the clear filter but it works great. I'll have the shop change the strainer and i'll put in Biocide.

I can't tell you how grateful I am for all you guys's advice. Without you I would have just given up and spent $$$ to have it towed and fixed.

You rock.

They are definitely not supposed to leak. I take it you have the old type that you unscrew the top and then pump? If so, maybe it wasn't screwed all the way down, that'll let air in. (Don't ask how I know.. lol)
