Extra Shrader valve in AC Compressor
Just had my AC Compressor replaced for a new one (Not OEM, and not sure what make). The original OEM one was leaking. Its a perfect fit and even came with the 4 OZ. of PAG Oil. The new compressor works well, but I noticed that it has a shrader valve in it. the original OEM one did not. What is that valve for? The garage that installed it also didn't know.
Thanks Phil

Its for checking pressure. Some compressors have an extra valve so that the compressor can work on many different models.
