I followed a blue 1991 350SDL through part of the city (grand rapids, MI) on my way to school this morning!! It had a "presteige imports" sticker on the back, and was in pretty spiffy condition....is that person a member here??? (I doubt it, but hey its worth a try ) I'd never seen a 350SDL before either, old MB's are rare around here in general....I see about 6-7 a month usually....that was my 5th so far this month. Generally I see 126 gassers or 123 diesels....not many 126 or 140 diesels though....

You know I think I hit an all time high this weekend. 3 W123's and 1 W115 240D...... All were in less then nice condition but still reliable daily drivers.

Saturday was close to a record for me. My newly purchased 116, My 123 following behind me, another 123 that got between us, We passed a 123 wagon, we saw a beater 123 on the way to get my new 116 and not far from home I saw one in a driveway. 6 in one day!

The "wave"

Jeep enthusiasts have a wave, every time you see another lifted or modified jeep you wave, unless it is lowered then you wish you had a gun to put the jeep out of its misery, kind of like a club sign. I have noticed in town there is a 124 te and a few old 240s. We all wave like that to each other although I have never met them. Do any of you experience that where you live.

Their are a fair number of old MB's running around my area. Lots of W126's seem to be out and about since the weather is nice, I saw three actualy going to work today.

Their is a nice dark blue 300SDL that I have recently started seeing around town.

Also my cars twin which I see about once a month, 904 blue 300SEL, with my wheels, and clear corners. One day I need to flag him down and talk to him.

I buzzed a tired 420SEL on the highway the other day, in the SD. I mean buzzed to, I was really moving and they were in the center going along pretty slow.
