Hey does the Automatic Climate Control Work on it? I'm running through mine now on a 77 300D and have a great trouble shooting guide if you need it.

yeah it works.....but cost me almost $1,000 in new parts to do it 3 years ago. Needed a rebuilt aluminum body servo, new servo amp, and a aux water pump that was siezed up replaced. Only thing not currently working on the car is the cruise control..but plan to fix that too in the next month.

I wouldn't mind the trouble shooting guide. It has a new aluminum servo but doesn't work. The prior owner said there is an amp behind the glovebox that is bad.
If its e-mailable you can send to
cdow@tds.net
thanks

THose should be replaced as a pair....sometime a bad amp can smoke a new servo...my old amp was a visible wreck.

I have the Real Mercedes Benz ACC troubleshooting guide AND the rare ACC manual...however I do not have those in an electronic format.

I have a 78 123 parts car. Will the amp from that work? The guy I bought that car from said all the cliamate control stuff was new before the engine froze up.

Also, does anyone know if the AC condesor is the same or the steering box from a 123 to a 116?

There's a website that has the manual on it, I'm pretty sure I have it bookmarked, if not, I know there is a thread around here that has the link to it, that's how I found about it.

Here's the link: http://www.imperialclub.com/Repair/Lit/Master/281/index.htm

P.S., it's for the Chrysler ACC system, which MB bought the rights to, so it's basically the same system.
