odometer/console window switch

'83 300D turbo. 125K miles.

This is a fantastic forum. The fix for the cruise worked perfectly. I read every thread I could find about the odometer slip, and worked on it last night until 1:30AM. Everything went fine, except the 100,000, 10,000 and 1,000 wheels moved out of relation to the rest, and I just could not get them to line up again - any advice would be appreciated.

Center console mounted window switches, how do I remove these?

Pry the ends carefully with a very small screwdriver. Then pull them out and unplug them.
