personally i would stay with stock 3.0 components. tried, proven, available.
i did think about this myself, and it has attractive points, but i wouldnt in the end. my $.02 tom w

Lots of great information. I am going to begin searching for a good 300D, 300SDL (1986-1987) engine just in case. Thanks to all of you for your in put. It is a great help.
