I bought my 300sdl off this guy a few weeks ago. He didnt want to budge on the price.

I have seen that Smart for sale for months. The turbo problem is easily fixed, probably for around a couple hundred dollars (turbo positioner). I would love to buy the car, but I have seven on my insurance now, and need to sell a few....Rich

It must have been an anomaly, it is working for me now.

I have read of great dissatisfaction with the MB Smartcars. Seems like about 90% (do not remember the exact number) of folks who purchase them new would not buy another.

However I have never talked with an actual owner.

Yes, it should be able to get Ca. tags & title if for no other reason because of age and mileage .
