Not mine, but if I had the money, I’d definitely snap it up. Such low miles.

You would 14 thousand dollars for the most common paint and interior colored w123 just cuz it "might" have 92k miles......

A 90k engine will run absolutely exactly the same as a 200k engine... But you would be willing to slam $12500 onto the sticker price.

And the odometer is probably the most common failed part on w123. If there is no paperwork it really means nothing

Judging by the replacement seat skins, there is no way this car is 90k miles. What a scam.

agreed,

Yes and I am extremely happy with it, only defect is one window sw is intermittent. I discovered the console switch module is a U-shaped circuit board with individual switches mounted to it. Not switches that are individually replaceable.
I guess MB found a way to charge North of $400 for a window switch when they wear out (which they eventually do.)
I found one on ePay for half that, NIB. My first expense on the car.

OK, your right, CL can be addicting. I check CL religiously, if not to list worthwhile cars here on the forum, but also because I'm still looking for a W124 diesel preferably a wagon for a donor engine I own.
Gotta stop this someday :o

Yeah it’s clearly been gone through - 83s didn’t come with loop carpet - they came with feintuft velour.

I know a Vietnamese expat garage owner in Redwood City who is wild about the 350SD. Has a couple I think. I'll forward the ad to him.

How about that ad:

Not unusual, unless you consider the SDL the usual measure.
The SD is less common in the 350 style I guess
Easier to park maybe?

This appears to be a quite decent example of a 123 COUPE
Unfortunately seller says no title available
This can be a serious problem if you go to sell later and I'm not sure how insurance would treat that either.
How people can buy a car without the pinkslip I don't understand, unless for a parts car.

Great car at a great price. One could do a lien sale on it, but it could not be driven for 30 days. Otherwise, the paperwork might be a real challenge.

Having done this once, I'd never bother with a title-less car again. There's a great article about this on Haggerty:

I've never had a problem buying cars without a title. Just register them in Vermont (they don't issue titles and don't require you to even be a resident) and then take your Vermont registration to your local licensing office to register it in your state. It's fast and cheap.
