Anyone using a SPAL Electric Fan?
Hi Gang,
I'm thinking that for Houston, I need a bigger/ higher performance aux cooling fan for Rag Doll in the summer time. I have read everyone here talking about SPAL Fans, has anyone used then yet? #30100384 is the part number I found that looks closest to our OE setup, but I wasnt sure if that would do the trick. I wish I could remove the bars that the fan mounts on and install dual fans in its place! Thanks gang. Dub

Spal fans are very good. They are used extensively in the Classic Mustang family. We considered a spal fan for my sons 65 Mustang. But our problem was the radiator.
Your car is designed to operate in the dessert at normal temps with the current fan and radiator setup. So it may not be necessary to add the Spal fan as it is to ensure that the radiator and current fan setup are working correctly. Again the Spal fans are great. Just make sure your wire is the correct size for the fan you purchase. Dave
