Auxillary Fans

The auxillary cooling fans were working fine two weeks ago when I inspected the A/C at the beginning of the season. The fans stopped working this weekend and I found a blown fuse. Replaced the fuse and ran the A/C only to blow the fuse again when the temperature reached the point to start the fans.

The fans spin freely by hand. Any idea what could be tripping the fuse?
