Autozone filters alert

I just went to the local Autozoo I usually get my filters at and they all said that the MB fuel/oil filters will no longer be stocked.

I can't find any other place in town selling MB filters that don't have the cotton waste junk filters. The MB dealer has them, but they wanted $14/ea for the oil filter.

There are some eBhell sellers listing 4 Mann filters for about $34.

Shame they used to sell Mann in those STP box's. Expensive though rather buy them online.

The list of stuff I buy from them shrinks I am down to wax, glass cleaner, and rags.

I got some from here... they had all the weird diesel ones I needed for the generator, Benz, and Nissan diesel in stock!

As I remember they were all about 1/2 what they would cost at a local store.

Thanks, DieselCJ. I own that site, and we don't advertise often so it's always nice to get more word-of-mouth. That's how most of our business happens now.

Give us a call or visit the site. www.fleetfilter.com

Does it use the same Wix 33128 filter as the 4D56T in the 85 Mitsu Mighty Max sold in the US?

Just another reason to keep me the hell outta there, besides the shoddy parts and not quite retarded counter people . Oh yeah, and the registers that aren't at the parts counter, making me wait in unorganized waiting lines twice.

Hey Sixto, how's it goin? I was readin over at the MItsu forums on 4x4 wire and from what I read, only the 4d55 was sold over here. Those 2 engines don't have the same oil filter. I'll double check kragens or autozone. Thanks a bunch Sixto.

I went to NAPA and bought 2 filters there. I don't remember the cost, but what I did notice is that they do not come with the crush washer for the drain plug. Also seems that my hot oil pressure is lower with these filters than when I install the MANN filters that I normally use.

Buy Online

Theres plenty of places online to get filters from. Many have sales frequently. I just got some Mann and Hengst recently averaging $6-7 ea. Delivery usually in 3-5 days.
