Spring pad advice
I am moving onto restoring the rear ride height of my 300D. In the past 3 years it has slowly lowered, and now sits a tiny bit lower than the front... and it BUGS ME. SO, I am looking at replacing my rear shocks, possibly the springs, and definitely putting in thicker spring pads.
The end result I am seeking is an increase in rear ride height, so that the car sits a tiny bit higher than the front end. My question is this; How much height will I gain with the installation of thicker rear spring pads? I am pretty certain that I will be installing the thickest possible- 19mm. The car currently has whatever was stock for the sedan W123 300D in 1984.
