84 123. Rebuilt brakes. WOW

I did pads, rotors, soft lines and replaced all the old fluid with fresh several months ago but thought I would just throw up a post to a group of people that would appreciate how impressed I am with the stopping power of this car.

I had an unattentive driver pull directly in front of me from a surface road onto a major highway here in Va. and the car reacted in a manner fitting to a sports car. Nice, strong, stop with no lock-up and great modulation at threshhold.

I am continually impressed with the engineering of this car. From taking off the trim for paint to adjusting the valves.

The one part that typifies the MB wrenching experience for me is the rear taillight electrical connection. Made to come apart AND go back together. I don't have to break out the small screwdriver and twist and cuss to get the connector loose.

Just thought I would share.

Take Care,

James Hogan

Let's just see if I think that way after replacing both oil coolant lines. Heh.
