Just bought another one! whooohooo!

Hey Guys and Gals and everything in between. I have been a member of this forum for a couple of years and have not posted too much. I bought my first diesel benz in 04. It was an 84 190d that was so slow it would not pull a greasy string out of a cats a$$. I only paid $600 for it and traded it for a 1983 300d which was a huge step up in power from the 190d. It was an excellent car. I redid the a/c system on it and a few other small things. I drove it for a year or so and sold it back to the guy I bought it from for $600. I really miss that car. So I went about a year or so driving gas burning domestic cars and I started missing my benz. I have been looking for another for a while and it just so happens that one of my good customers in Tulsa that works only on benz's and hummerss ran across a beautiful 83 300cd that is in near perfect condition, copper color with tan MB-Tex interior with ice cold a/c for $800.00 I bought it sight unseen as soon as I found out it was for sale. He drove it around today to check it out to make sure it was trip worthy from tulsa back to MO. I am going to go by and pick it up tommorrow evening. I can't wait. Just thought I would share my excitement with you all. I'll repost here after I pick it up and let you all know how it runs and drives!

I certainly hope it is as good as described by two different people. The first words out of my customers mouth while ago was he sold it way too cheap. Only thing he could see wrong with it is he said the temp guage was reading 100 C and he thought it should be a little cooler. He used a laser temp guage on it and said it was 85 C and was going to go ahead and put a new sender on it for me so I didn't freak out the whole trip home. We will see.
