Help! I found a 92 300D. Its a BEAUTIFUL car but it has some problems. It has a terribly rough idle especially when the air is on but it drives beautifully. When I opened the hood, the first thing I noticed was that the injection pump had a steady drip. Other than that everything else was fine. Can anybody help me with these?

Ive read that a temporary fix is pouring some transmission stop leak fluid in the fuel tank with the diesel. And it should slow down or stop the fix temporarily. Try that so you dont waste the diesel and then replce the seal, its probably due for a change.

I just replaceed my motor mounts on my 93 300d and it was like some one exchanged the engine with a sewing machine super quiet and vertually no vibration that is what i would suspect is wrong with yours ,and my pump is leaking from the top and today Iwill fix that good luck
